Laser Hair Removal Treatments

Permanent Hair Removal All Over!

We all know the drill – the occasional face hair pops up, and we're quick to reach for tweezers or take the shaving route. But let's face it, that hair always finds its way back. And don't even get us started on the bikini lines and hairy legs! With permanent laser hair removal, we've got you covered from head to toe, literally. Even those stubborn face hairs and random chin whiskers from menopause don't stand a chance.

Our secret weapon? The diode laser – a multi-talented superstar that takes care of not one, but two aesthetic treatments. First up, there's the magic of permanent hair removal. And that's not all – it's also your ticket to skin rejuvenation. This versatile method is a favorite among our clients, and for good reason. It's swift, it's kind to your skin, and there's absolutely no downtime involved.

No need to worry about your skin type or hair color – this laser loves them all. Whether it's a vast area like the back or chest, or more delicate spots like underarms or upper lips, it's got you covered. With each session, you'll notice hair reduction as the follicles gradually close. You can book a one-time laser hair removal session or dive into a course. Since everyone's unique, the number of sessions you'll need can vary. But rest assured, our diode laser's energy wavelength is more potent than other types, allowing it to dive deeper into your skin.

So, whether you're in for a single session or ready to commit to a series, consider this your open invitation to experience the magic of permanent laser hair removal.

Benefits of laser hair removal

Body hair, while natural, isn't always what we're looking for. Our head's hair? Absolutely. But when it comes to underarm and leg hair, things can get a bit tricky.

Sure, we all know that having body hair is completely normal, yet the measures we take to manage it can be quite extreme. Think about it: cutting, shaving, pulling, plucking, waxing, epilating, and even going for laser treatments. It's a constant struggle that many of us can relate to.

But here's some good news: we offer a solution that's permanent, painless, and speedy – it's laser hair removal, reinvented!

Best part? There's no downtime involved. So, you can carry on with your day as usual.

How does diode laser hair removal work?

We ask you to shave the area you want the hair removed from before your treatment.

In the clinic you’ll be asked to show us the area/s you’d like to be lasered. We apply a clear gel to the skin on the area to help the laser glide comfortably and to help conduct the laser light to the hair follicle. This gel also forms a cool layer on the skin to prevent any damage.

The treatment will take minutes. After each area is lasered we will remove the gel on your skin and wipe down your skin with a wet wipe, so you are comfortable to put your clothes back on.

There is no downtime so you can leave immediately. We will tell you about any after care needed.

Diode permanent hair removal lasers are pain free and very fast. We have an 808nm. This means our laser works on closing the hair follicles. It also has a cooling system, so you won’t feel any pain during your treatment.

We all go through three cycles of hair growth. They are the anagen, catagen and telogen stages. We remove anagen hair in the first stage of growth. The hair growth process normally lasts around 28 days in each cycle. It can vary. We suggest you come in every 4 – 6 weeks once you have started the process.

For some clients they have a result in three treatments and for others, it's five or six treatments. We cannot gauge when all your follicles are closed as each body is different. Our skin and hair are different, so we let our client’s book on any regrowth.

Why you should you ditch your razor for laser hair removal?

1.  Its very fast. On average a full back takes around 10 minutes. Both legs take around 25 mins. The rest of the time is forms, undressing and redressing and chat.

2.  There is no pain at all. It feels cold on the skin as we use a clear gel for it to glide on.

3. It treats any colour of hair and any type of skin.

4. It can treat any part of the body that has unwanted hair. It is perfect for the back and bikini area, which can be hard to reach with razors and extremely painful to wax.

5.  It prevents ingrown hairs that other types of hair removal cause.

6. A diode laser is the latest technology in laser hair removal systems. It uses a light beam with a narrow focus to target specific areas in the skin. Diode lasers offer the deepest penetration levels giving the most effective results post treatment.

7.  Once your treatments have ended you can enjoy hair free skin. Imagine how much you'll recoup on razors, waxing, or dipilation treatments

8. It is a long term solution. You won't think about unwanted hair.

9. You only have to have a treatment on any regrowth at the beginning. We all have a cycle of hair growth. After each treatment your skin will be smooth and more hairless. Some have to come back 3 - 4 times and others 5 - 6.

Laser Hair Removal - FAQs

How does diode laser stop the hair from growing?

Diode lasers use a single wavelength of light that has a high abruption rate in melanin (pigment). As the melanin heats up it destroys the root and blood flow to the follicle disabling the hair growth permanently.

How long does it take for diode laser hair removal to work?

It typically takes around seven to 21 days for some of the hair treated to fall out. However, lasers can only be used to treat hair follicles that are in the active growth stage. This is why we offer courses of 6 - 8.

Can diode laser permanently remove hair?

Laser treatment can permanently reduce the density of the hair or permanently remove unwanted hair. Permanent reduction in hair density means some hairs will regrow after a single course of therapy and patients will need ongoing laser treatment.

How long after diode laser does hair fall out?

Hairs begin to fall out in 5-14 days and may continue to do so for weeks. Hairs may be more rapidly removed by rubbing, scrubbing, or plucking (with no discomfort after 5 days) if one desires to speed up this part of the process. It is not necessary to do so.

How long after diode laser does hair fall out?

After treatment the growth of new hair will be less noticeable. Laser treatments damage hair follicles but they're not destroyed completely. The treated follicles may recover from the initial damage and grow hair again. Hormones and some other product such a Matrixyl can stimulate growth again.

Can I shave after diode laser?

Yes, but for several hours after skin redness or discoloration has subsided.

Why is my hair not falling out after laser?

You have hair follicles that are active and inactive. When you get the laser done you are killing your active hair follicles which will typically fall out somewhere between 1-4 weeks. Most of hair fall out will not be coming back again …same process “rinse and repeat”.

How often should you do diode laser?

At the beginning of the treatment course, treatments should be repeated every 28/30 days. Towards the end, and depending on individual results, sessions can be carried out every 60 days.

How many treatments will I need?

Generally, clients need about two to six treatments in order to completely get rid of hair. You can expect to see about a 10% to 25% reduction in hair after your first treatment. As you continue your treatments, more and more hair will fall out, and you'll notice that it continues to grow back more slowly.
