We received a negative comment on our social media recently saying 'You cannot destroy fat cells'.
Cryolypolosis is the posh name for fat freezing, known also as coolsculpting. When we freeze the body area the client wants reduced the freezing process leaves the fat cells in a crystalised state.

Up to 40% of the fat cells in that focused area goes through apoptosis (cell death) and are eliminated through the lymphatic system along with your body waste. We recommend all our clients to ensure they drink a good amount of water after the treatments to help flush out the lymphatic system. In this way it reduces the fatty layer in that area. No other body cells are affected by the process and the skin is protected by an anti-freeze membrane during the treatment. The results of the treatment is best seen after several weeks.
Your remaining fat cells can swell if you don't look after yourself in terms of nutrition and exercise but the cells treated have gone for good.
Clients are not aware of the apoptosis. This is a non invasive and painless treatment and we get great results for our clients. The fat loss is permanent and although there are a lot of case studies on this topic, we prefer to use our own case studies to illustrate the results with our clients permission. On average we notice the best results after a couple of weeks.
And yes, absolutely! Fat Freezing works through apoptosis which means the cells die.
